Thank you for coming to the HIGHWAY 141 Garage Sale website.

The towns, residents, and businesses along Highway 141 in Iowa, welcome you to join them as they hold their annual Garage Sale and Flea Market event on Friday, and Saturday August 5th & 6th,  2011. This two day event should prove to be enjoyable for everyone.

Hwy 141 travels west from Des Moines through the beautiful farm country of west central Iowa. The towns participating in the 2011 141 Garage Sale are Manilla, Manning, Templeton, Coon Rapids, Bayard, Bagley, Jamaica, Dawson, Perry, Bouton, Woodward, Granger, and Grimes.

Vendors, Garage Sales, and Flea Markets will be found both in the towns and along the highway between the towns. Most sales start at 8:00 AM and end at ??  Local community organizations and civic groups provide food and refreshments.

Those in neighboring towns are encouraged and are welcome to bring their items and set up tables in some of the city parks, and with others along HWY 141. (PLEASE CHECK WITH THE TOWN REP FIRST) Last year some of the towns used the event to raise money for improvements to city parks, to build new fire halls, etc...

This is the 9th annual HIGHWAY 141 Garage Sale and it is expected to be Bigger and Better than last year!
